Delete your account

How to delete your Conek account and what happens to your data afterwards.

Last updated 24 September, 2026

This page explains how to delete your Conek account, what is deleted, what is kept, and how long it takes. It applies to the web application and to the Conek mobile apps for iOS and Android.

Delete your account from the app

  1. Sign in to Conek on the web or in the mobile app.
  2. Open Close account — in the mobile apps this is under Settings → About → Delete account.
  3. Confirm. The account is closed immediately and you are signed out on every device.

Every Conek account is issued by A-SAFE. If you are A-SAFE staff, your account is normally provisioned from the A-SAFE identity provider: closing it here signs you out and disables it in Conek, and removing your A-SAFE identity is done by IT as part of leaver processing.

Request deletion instead

If you cannot complete the step above, email conek.dev@asafe.com asking for your Conek account to be deleted. We respond within 30 days, and normally far sooner. We may need to confirm your identity before acting, and we will tell you when the deletion is done.

What is deleted

  • Your sign-in credentials, sessions and remembered devices.
  • Your user profile: name, photo, contact details, preferences, language and theme.
  • Your personal settings, saved views, notification preferences and AI assistant conversations.
  • Your push-notification registrations, so the apps stop receiving notifications.
  • Any data cached on your device, once you sign out or uninstall the app.

What is kept, and why

Conek is A-SAFE’s system of record. Most of what is created in it is A-SAFE’s business data, not personal storage — contacts, quotes, orders, tasks, bookings, inspections and tickets. Deleting your account does not delete those records.

Specifically, the following survives the deletion of your account:

  • Business records created in the platform. They remain A-SAFE’s and stay available to the people who work with them.
  • Audit history. Conek keeps a record of who changed what. After deletion those entries are detached from your identity but the change history itself remains — it is what makes the records trustworthy and is often a legal requirement.
  • Records A-SAFE must keep by law, such as accounting and tax documentation.
  • Encrypted backups, until they expire on their normal schedule.

If you want personal data removed from a business record — a call transcript or a note, for instance — email conek.dev@asafe.com. An erasure cascades to derived copies, including analytics. See the Privacy Policy for your rights and how to exercise them.
